Mini Banana Bread

Recipe of banana bread for kids with milk allergy or intolerance.

Ingredients

  • 1 banana (143g)
  • 20 g water
  • 60 g Althéra HMO, Alfaré HMO, Alfamino HMO or Alfamino Junior HMO  powder
  • 45 g Oat rolled (blended slightly to ground-not too fine)
  • 65 g Aquafaba (chickpea water from can)
  • 1g Cardamom (optional)
     

Method

  1. Blend your oats to the consistency you want
  2. Drain the chickpeas remembering to keep the water in a bowl to one side
  3. Mash the banana with a fork
  4. Pour the chickpea water into a blender and whisk until fluffy
  5. Stir in the Althéra HMO, Alfaré HMO, Alfamino HMO or Alfamino Junior HMO  and cardamom 
  6. Add the mashed banana and oats, and mix well
  7. Add the water and mix through
  8. Form into about 8-12 rough stick shapes on greaseproof paper
  9. Bake for 12 mins at 180 degrees Celsius. Make sure they are cool before serving
