Home-made houmous

Ingredients

  • 400g tin of chickpeas
  • Lemon juice (1-2 lemons depending on size)
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 75ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini paste (optional)
  • 30 ml Althéra® HMO, Alfaré® HMO, Alfamino® HMO or Alfamino® Junior HMO (1 scoop powder to 30 ml water)

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a bowl and blend into a paste
  2. Separate 50g of your houmous mix and stir in 30 ml Althéra® HMO, Alfaré® HMO, Alfamino® HMO or Alfamino® Junior HMO
  3. If you want to adapt the consistency, try adding a few teaspoons of baby rice
