Home-made houmous

Ingredients

  • 400g tin of chickpeas 
  • Lemon juice (1-2 lemons depending on size)
  • 2 garlic cloves (peeled)
  • 75ml vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp tahini paste (optional)
  • 30 ml Althéra HMO, Alfaré HMO, Alfamino HMO or Alfamino Junior HMO (1 scoop powder to 30 ml water)

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a bowl and blend into a paste
  2. Separate 50g of your houmous mix and stir in 30 ml Althéra HMO, Alfaré HMO, Alfamino HMO or Alfamino Junior HMO
  3. If you want to adapt the consistency, try adding a few teaspoons of baby rice
